Propositions


NO   Proposition 2  Borrow $10 billion to build schools.

NO  Proposition 3:   Reaffirm the right of same-sex couples to marry.

NO  Proposition 4:   Borrow $10 billion for climate programs.

NO   Proposition 5:   Lower voter approval requirements for local housing and infrastructure bonds.

NO   Proposition 6:   Limit forced labor in state prisons.

NO   Proposition 32: Raise the state minimum wage to $18 an hour. 

NO   Proposition 33: Allow local governments to impose rent controls.

NO   Proposition 34: Require certain health providers to use nearly all revenue from a federal prescription drug program on patient care.

NO   Proposition 35: Make permanent a tax on managed health care insurance plans.

YES  Proposition 36: Increase penalties for theft and drug trafficking.


Measures


NO Measure B South Placer Traffic Relief.  (Cities of Lincoln, Rocklin and Roseville) Requires 2/3 vote to pass


Shall a measure to reduce traffic congestion and build transportation projects in Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln-including widening Highway 65; fixing the 80/65 Interchange bottleneck; funding local road repair; guaranteeing more State transportation matching funds; and authorizing bond financing-by establishing a half-cent sales tax that cannot be taken by the State and would raise approximately $41,000,000 annually over 30 years, with independent audits and a citizens' oversight committee, be adopted.
